Samsung S9 Plus sound problems

Acknowledging that there are two sets of speakers on the S9 (top and bottom). After I use my S9 on speaker (e.g phone call top speaker) the volume drops to almost nothing and the notification sounds don't work at all. Basically the bottom speakers don't work at all. If I reboot it, the speakers at the base of the phone work fine again. Any suggestions?

There aren't 2 sets of speakers. Check volume on system sounds and media or not on silent.

To clarify, there is a speaker that you have next to your ear when making phone calls and a set of speakers at the base. I've checked the system sounds and everything is fine. A reboot seems to be the only fix.
