Samsung galaxy s20+ ultra alarm issues

Hey guys. 

Is anyone else having problems with using the alarm when the phone is muted? 

As in you go to bed at night and mute your phone, but the alarm will still go off and with volume in the morning?

Mine is silent and i cant find a way to fix it. My old s8+ had an option called alarm theough soundless.

Hope someone can help.

Yes i understand this issue. I had a Samsung 7 that worked great,  upgrade and now the alarm doesn't have the features and doesn't work

Omg you saved my life. I just got the Note 20 Ultra and could not figure out why my alarm was only vibrating instead of ringing. They really shouldn't have that turned on by default if they aren't going to do some pop up or notification about it.

I'm having the same issue now, which is weird because I had no problems with my phone always on silent and my alarm still working until the last couple of weeks where I slept through several alarms and I don't know how to fix it. My phone just did a system update and it didn't even help

Thanks for this! I've never had this issue with any phone in the past.  Now if they can just fix the YouTube no playback on data issue...

SOLVED!

Boy, this was annoying...   This worked on my S20 FE

1. Go to Settings>Notifications>Do Not Disturb>Alarms and sounds

2. Turn Alarms OFF
