S21 ultra - one UI 4.0 battery indicator showing 0%

Hi guys, updated my s21 ultra to the new UI yesterday, however my battery indicator on the top right of the phone is showing 0%, it shows properly in the battery usage app and when you plug in for charge it shows correctly in the middle of the screen, it also dissappears everytime I restart the phone even if indicator is turned on, I have wiped the cache partition, let the phone drain to zero and full charge again, nothing seems to resolve the issue, so annoying without a working battery indicator, any help would be much appreciated

To anyone having the same problem 

I had to reset all settings and go into developer options enable and preview demo mode and disable it and it worked

Yes, this happened to me before the update and it still continues after the update. It is disgusting.

I saved myself with this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=you.in.spark.energy.ring.gen

is not the best but it does the trick.

It happens when you go in demo mode of devloper option, same thing happened to me battery icon dissaeared. 

Best is to go in developer option then demo and click on - show demo mode, come out and restart the phone and its done.
