Hi all I'm having issues with my battery. I have had the phone 3 days and have imported my apps etc from old phone. Its lasting about 10 hours with it predicting to do so today as well. I'm down at 79% after taking it off charge less that two hours ago and barely using it.

I saw a similar post suggesting to reset the cache but it just isn't working.. I have watched 3 videos on how to do it, I follow them step by step and it just reboots my phone normally..

On the battery stats it says chrome is the biggest culprit. I use chrome for work and has all my shortcuts etc save so I really don't want to switch as I should be able to use the browser I choose without issue. I have upgraded from the p30 Pro and usually get a full day out of it every time and that's with heavy use...

Is their a known error/ fix as I'm about ready to send it back.

I'm using the same charger I used for the p30 Pro since Samsung didn't even provide one for this phone..

No Android 11 is fine, the issue is most social media apps and Chrome are not fully compatible. I don't use social media and use Samsung Browser and I get 2 days use.

On the charger front, I wouldn't recommend using Huawei's charger on your S21, it's both inefficient and possibly more harmful to Samsung devices. I own both the P30 Pro and S21 Ultra and neither phone charges well against the other vendors charger. I'd recommend getting a genuine 25W Samsung charger, or if you want a little future proofing, the 45W charger from ELECJET on Amazon. It supports all Samsung charging speeds from 15, 25 and 45W and is about the same price as a genuine 25W charger from Samsung (the only 3rd party charger I know which supports Samsungs 45W charging speed).

Thanks Joeye I'm not using the p30 charger it's a 30w ravpower charger. Would that have the same concerns?

I can't say for certain but getting the supported PD charger is highly recommended. Whilst you can technically use any USB c charger to charge, from my own experience with my Samsung devices, using genuine Samsung chargers work best in both charging speed and heat dissipation wise. As I mentioned before the only 3rd party charger I know which works 100% effectively like a genuine Samsung charger is the ELECJET.
