s21 poor signal after update to android 12

My s21 always have full signal when on android 11, and today I update to android 12 and the signal is now only 1 bar and calls take longer to connect. Is there a fix to this or a way to roll back to android 11 ?

Hi @xseanx 

 

You can't rollback to Android 11 via the native settings in your phone.

Have you tried going into your settings, general Management,  reset and then reset network connection.

Also does this happen everywhere or in certain areas as this could be your network masts at issue.

I have this issue, too, not carrier related. This is with my S21 Ultra, signal better on S10 until it got Android 12 yesterday.
It is a Google issue affecting many devices. There's a lot of unhappy Pixel users so let's hope that it gets resolved soon.

Thank you for your response. Yes I've try network reset twice it won't help at all. I'm pretty sure this is not carrier related issue because I always have strong signal where I lived.

I'm having signal issues on my S21 Ultra too!


My advice comes from being a UK Samsung iPhone user.

Current Devices:
  • iPhone 14 Pro 256GB Deep Purple
  • Samsung Galaxy Buds+ > Model: SM-R175.

Thank you. Had a play around and I finally have a decent signal on 5G!

I was always getting 1-2 bars but now I get 3-4 bars. 👍Screenshot_20220115-090901_One UI Home.jpg
