I ordered my S21 through an upgrade in th UK and now I'm seriously regretting it.

Since ordering I have seen numerous reviews on YouTube by well respected tech guys who are saying that the S21 doesn't reach a full working day on the 4000mAh.

Going from the S10 this is concerning.

Anyone thinking the same?

I did lots of research before going for the Samsung including almost buying the OnePlus 8 Pro. As the guy who posted above has said, he experienced screen failure on a Note 20 so any phone will have examples where some component fails, remember the galaxy Note 7??

That being said, Samsung are the king where it comes to screens, just do a search for OnePlus 8 Pro screen issues and you'll have material to keep you absorbed for days. Search for the same about Samsung Note 20 or S20 series and you'll have far fewer examples.

As far as recommending a phone, I do my own homework knowing my own needs. You said you were concerned about battery life with the S21? Are you a heavy user? I went from S10+ to Note 20 Ultra very recently and noticed no issues with battery performance. I would imagine the S21 will be similar to S10 as it's 1080P screen and about the same size.

Maybe I'll stick with the S21 after all. Just seen so many reviews saying the battery is poor. Shame we don't get the Snapdragon Chipset in the UK

Don't forget you have a full 28 day return with Samsung if it doesn't suit your needs. I just returned a week old Note 20 Ultra and got a refund.

if you think your taking a chance on the one plus 8 pro..I would say go for the Google pixel 5..Great performance
.Great camera...4000 battery also but has 765g snapdragon chip ..6inch screen..has 90htz screen refresh as apposed to s21 120htz but you won't not the difference and you get all this cheaper then s21

Google Pixel 5 is not on my radar. Think that drops the level of phone a fair bit from what I have seen. Tech Radar gave it a 2/5

it's a very good phone for the price point most reviewers have given it a thumbs-up

From what I've seen, the s21 has great battery on the exynos variant. 8hrs SOT is great. also trust me, the snapdragon 888 is a bad chip. it may be powerful but the exynos 2100 is right up there and the sd888 overheats like crazy, just search up 'Mi 11 sd888 perfromance'.

I would go for the s21, no but seriously, the CPU is better on the exybos 2100, the GPU is like 5% max better on the sd888 (on pre release software so it will probs be improved on the exynos), and the exynos is the one that runs cooler. A review of the exynos s21 said it runs cool and doesn't overheat while the snapdragon 888 had been shown to overheat quite a lot, such as in the xioami mi 11 (which is actually a bigger phone them the s21 so the snapdragon s21 would heat up and throttle even more).
