S20FE 5g notifications repeat the second the minute changes

I've had this issue after the recent updates where my phone ghost pings me with a notification for something I've already deleted, the very next minute it pops up again the very second it turns that minute

let's say I follow a twitch streamer that goes live at 10 AM, I get a notification for that stream and don't wake up until let's say 3:21 PM, the stream has ended by now so I delete the notification, I then get a notification at 3:22 PM that they're live again, I click on the notification and twitch tells me that there was never a stream at 3:22 PM and that the last stream was 4 hours ago, then I get a notification the second it turns 3:23 PM and again it's the same story, it takes me 6-10 times before my phone gets the memo that they messed up

it doesn't happen with just twitch, it happens with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Steam, Xbox, everything

Settings- notifications- Advanced- is Repeat notification alerts turned off?

There isn't even an opinion for that from what I can see, only to turn them off completely

I've exactly the same problem! 


Sometimes notifications does not appeaer, or appear after a very long time. Another time they appear duplicated. 

Do you have a solution @johnz237  or @D4rk5tars ?

Same for me on Galaxy S20 FE 5G. It drains the battery incredibly quickly.

It seems that I have found a workaround. At least since yesterday, I haven't encountered this issue after disabling the notification history.

Settings -> Notifications -> Advanced settings -> Notification history -> Disable.

Before that, my phone's battery was completely drained after 8 hours. So far, it looks promising. I hope it stays that way.
