S20 ultra only focus when change camera mode

I have s20 ultra. When I open the camera app it start in foto mode. The phone will not focus at this point. If I put hand in front of the camera it get in focus but when I remove the hand, it goes back to the blurry background... 

When ik change mode to single shot is get in focus and when I go back to foto mode is does focus. 

I already restarted phone, did clear cach, did camera setting reset, partition clear...

As it does focus in single take it means it's software related...I have latest version of camera app. 

Does somebody have solution for this. Chat with samsung on WhatsApp was not really helpfull...

Hope somebody has idea or solution.

Xiaomi MiNote10 had at first really bad battery life, when shaking the phone there was no noise at all, after few months and few updates the phone started to make a noise that came from the main camera, now when i shake the phone, the 108MP camera lens does change position and i can literally see it....
so this problem could be mitigated by some battery power, oddly enough when i bought the S20Ultra i tried shaking the phone and - there was it, the same sound 😅

Hey did you find a solution to this? Have the same issue with my dad's phone and can't seem to fix it at all! When I clear the cache it works temporarily but within a couple of uses its back to blurry!

Good morning, 

The only way to get around this is to tap the phone when the camera is on. small tap will make the focus operational again... I know it looks stupid but seems it's related to design of the lens module that can get stuck... so with tap it jumps to focus and then focus works fine if you select items on the screen.... 
Not wat you expect from Samsung quality...
