Pokemon Go and the Samsung S20 Ultra

While this is primarily a Niantic issue, perhaps a gentle 'nudge' from Samsung might get their attention. All Samsung Galaxy Store versions of PoGo starting with 0.170.0 and subsequent updates 0.171.1 and 0.171.2 will freeze a few seconds after starting the game, from various Forum Threads around it seems to be just the S20 Ultra has this issue, i also have an S8+ and i even resurrected an old S7 Flat to test it and all updates are fine on them, luckily a forced update hasn't happened yet but when it comes looks like S20 Ultra players will be locked out, just to point out this also happens on the Google Play Store versions so ball is in Niantic's court.

Update 0.171.2 has been released today, no differences, the problem continues.

Problem solved, update 0.171.3 released only in Galaxy Store, working perfect in my Galaxy S20+.

Hi Here in U.K and Usa and possible other countries since the Pokemon go update ther are problems with apperantly ALL the s20 range. The main issues been freezing within seconds of game loading. Black screen etc. i contacted Niantic and at first they sent me a very long to do. I.E  uninstalling, game reinstalling removing the app clearing Data and Cash etc  after trying this twice and still havving the same problem i recontacted Niantic and they advise they are aware of the problem with S20 and are looking into the problem. i at the moment have the luxery of still having my s8 so can continue to play. Lets hope Niantic can get sorted soon.  To contact Ninatic go to sttings on Pokemon go then get support then troubleshooting. I know a lot of people wont be able to access this while game is freezing.
