Phone really laggy after kernel panic

My phone has become really laggy after it kernel panicked. I have cleared cache but it did not work

What were you doing at the time it started playing up?

Nothing. I just my phone in my pocket then took it out a few minutes later and it was like this

I am worried because a kernel panic is what your operating system does when it detects something serious going wrong and turns off to prevent further damage

You may have already tried this
But have you tried the reboot option with holding the power button and volume on for 3 seconds

It was volume down and yes, but it didn't work. I cleared cache in recovery mode and it booted but not it is slow/laggy all the time

Same thing happened to my husband. How can I get it back cause if I reboot everything will get deleted

It shouldn't be deleted?

Hold volune down and power for 3 seconds and wait for it then reboot
