Hi guys,

I ve been having issues with my S21 after the the android 12 update.

Network keeps drooping & mobile data will switch on and off continuously. I updated my mobile on the 4 January 2022. Immediately after the upate the phone crashed and now I can't even make a phone call.

Has anyone found a fix, I have wiped the cache, restarted the phone, reset the network connections and even got a new sim with new network packages/text.

I am at the end of my tether, no acknowledgement from samsung if it was just mobile data or WiFi you could get by but I can't make or receive calls it cuts out.

Please reach out if you have

Oh thank goodness. I've felt like I've been going insane. I updated my phone like a week ago and right after the update I started having network issues. At least I can know that what I'm experiencing isn't me going crazy.

Exactly the same problem on my S20 FE since it was updated to Android 12. Why Samsung can´t solve this? I can´t use the phone normally... I conect my laptop to the mobile for playing, and I can´t play even 1 minute without lost the conection. I will need to use my old mobile for this... Is this a joke? It is ridiculous at least.

Wanna know something crazy? So samsung fix it was send it in. Even if warranty on phone and I have free upgrade. Well guys here to tell ya the free upgrade is for memory of said phone. This case be the s22g. The warranty don't cover it because my screen and other parts of phone are perfect. So, based on what I was told it cost me 400$ for the s22. Half off that's it. And of course no other phone to switch it out with but 22. So, last step was send in phone to tech support and pray in 10 days I get it back working.

So, 10 days no phone! What so since I still can text and call, I choose to keep phone til I had money to upgrade it.

WELL GUYS GUESS WHAT!

YESTERDAY I be darn if the thing is fully active. I got data and internet back all apps work etc...

Idk how what etc happened as they couldn't send me a new update for me to download it ( no data internet streaming).

So, idk weather tell ya to wait and see what may happen. Recent new Sim on 11th. But I'm excited it's working again to full capacity.  I mean yall I was sick knowing I was going have to buy a new phone. In 2 years since s21 5g came out I paid straight out for plus version. That sucker was hacked all to he'll. I was lucky to get this phone reg s21 but have been thru 4 Sim cards.

I strongly urge you to add mobile account security program and coverage plan for products.

Best wishes and Samsung recall this bs!

They need to test updates before sending out. I'm worried about them scratch that PSTD 😆

I hadn't noticed an issue until recently but the phone (S20) is really not playing well with wireless networks at all. I've got a Mac, iPhone, older Samsung tablet and a variety of other PCs and they are all connected stable at 300+Mbps and the phone can barely manage 50Mbps and latency/jitter spikes all over the place. Wifi calling is more than unstable unless I am completely stationary whereas I could walk in and out of the house beforehand.

Wife's phone (S10) on OneUI 4 (Android 12) is also exactly the same so it's not the wireless AP equipment we have.

Please can CS stop telling us to clear RAM and storage, this is obviously a firmware/modem chipset issue in the latest release so it needs fixing.

How did it go? Did they manage to repair it. I'm sure it is not a hardware issue.

The in store repairs was a bloody waste of time, they could not reproduce the fault on there diagnostics so as no fault was found they could not help. I even screen recordered the faults happening and showed they video evidence.

I eventually had Samsung come and collect my phone and they were able to reproduce the fault as they have a way of checking 5g network. Cut a long story short they tried a different motherboard and geus what phone was working fine no problem... Unfortunately Samsung are struggling to access new parts and could not fix my phone as result. They offered me alternative phones s21+ in my case but I declined and the refunded me in full £1199 . I've gone back to a note 10+ for the time being while I wait on the s22 ultra price to come down.
