Samsung please just sort this problem out so many complain yet you do nothing, i asked you how to block scottish power as they harass me texting at 3am, 4am , 5am, 6am, they claim its automated and they refuse to stop it so im asking you to sort it and person i spoke to at samsun suggests resetting my phone??? Ridiculous how will that stop  this company texting me from a name with no number? Give us a dam block option its dangerous for vulnerable people its making me ill! An elderly person could also fall for scams more likely sort it out

This is regarding messages that don't show a number, have the block or spam option. That's why it's an issue.

P.S. Attn Admin: Do they pay Samsung for their ability to harass their Samsung buying victims? Is this close to being resolved? In Australia we need to be able to report these predators to the authorities, just setting the phone to do not disturb 24/7 is not enough!

But the companies who text do not jave a number iust their name. How do we block them when they do not have a number come up ? We pay for our phones so should be able to bloke companies or people that we wish to have no contact with us and this needs sorting out. Urgently please

I have the same issue. DND settings are not the answer. I have not been their customer for more than a year, but despite written notification and three complaints by telephone (each of which I had to wait over 40minutes before getting through to someone), and each time was assured they would stop. They don't. I tried again today, and was told that because the account is held by my ex (who has had just as much luck trying to get them to sort this out), they weren't able to discuss it with me, despite them sending these unstoppable messages at all times, interrupting my work, my private time. I can't set DND 24x7, so I get disturbed by them every few days. And you are telling me I can't make it stop? Make it stoppable!
