Hey, I know how frustrating this is, it's happened to me too! I found a workaround, but the screen stays on – unlike Smart View. If you're up for it, grab the Miracast app (Tree team) from the Play Store. Connect your TV using your phone's hotspot (no internet needed), but leave your phone's wifi on as well. Open the app, tap connect. It'll take you to a hidden setting with your TV's name. Choose it, then hit "start casting." Accept on your TV, and you're all set! No internet needed, unlike Google Cast. Turn off your phone's wifi hotspot and internet and enjoy smoother casting. It works perfectly for me 😉 Give it a shot and let me know how it goes.
