Keyboard freezing after typing emojis

I have been noticing this for at least 2 weeks or so now. It seems as though whenever I type an emoji in a message, whether that be on WhatsApp or Messenger,  the keyboard freezes and I have to wait around a minute for it to respond again.

My device is up to date and has had a few updates since I noticed the freezing issue. I have also reset the settings for the keyboard and ensured my apps are up to date.

Has anyone else noticed this issue? It is getting quite frustrating that it is taking so long to send a simple message just if I want to use an emoji

Also a Note 10+ user. Freezing all the time. At the moment only after adding an emoji. Tried all the above fixes on the Samsung keyboard through settings. Hope Samsung can fix this ...Sharpish !

I had same issues. I've installed new Gboard from Google play store and set that as my default keyboard now rather than the Samsung keyboard. All appears fine now. Good luck.

I experienced similar issue and I have resolved it.  Go to Keyboard settings > Smart Typing >  turn off  Suggest emojis . That should solve it. And likely other A series.

I had the same issue and it was quite frustrating. 

 I went to Settings/apps/Samsung Keyboard and I cleared my data and cache.

😚🙃😚😗😒😝😏😐🤤 it feels unreal to type out all these emojis without my keyboard freezing for a second
