How can I upload SD card data to a S21 + phone?

I have recently purchased a refurbished S21 + phone to replace my S8 + that sadly died.

I have managed to restore most of my data to the S21 from Samsung Cloud. However, there’s a lot of data on the SD card from the S8 that I need to restore to the S21. Unfortunately, the S21 has no SD card slot.

How can I get the data from the SD card onto the S21 phone?

Thanks in advance.

Your S21 has two Sim card slots. Slot 1 for your main Sim and the second could be used for the SD card. Try this method, and I believe it will work. It did for me when I upgraded from S10 to this S21 ultra. You could access the SD card from the FILES folder 📂 Good luck 👍🏾

Today's update on the Samsung S8 + Black Screen and othet issues.

I just can't believe my good fortune. Earlier this evening, out of sheer desperation more than anything, I decided to try to recharge / restart my old S8 +.
To my great surprise, not only did it recharge to 100%, but also restarted and remained fully functional long enough for me to transfer everything over to the S21 + using SideSync. Shortly after the transfer completion, the S8+ died again, only to restart and hang up at the startup screen.

I"ve learned a few lessons from this experience.
1. Always fully back up everything to Samsung Cloud.
2. Take note and record where data such as Cantacts are saved to.
3. A Samsung phone is not "dead' even if it has remained in a frozen state for 12 days and has also been declared "unrepairable' by a long established phone repairer.

Thanks to @Robin999 for all the advice and guidance provided over the past 12 days. I've taken a lot of this advice onboard.

I'm glad it's all sorted for you. Always a worrying time when you think you've lost months or years of data. Totally agree about backups. I use Google One as my main backup method. Only costs £1.79 per month for 100GB, which is more than enough for me. Also, because I have a Google account, all my contacts, favourites, wallet, photos, etc. are available across all my devices.
I hope your S21 serves you well, but if you have any more issues or need advice in general, then feel free to shout out. 🙂

Thanks again for all your help and advice. I'll look into using Google One rather than Samsung Cloud for backups.

I was so lucky to be able to recover everything from the S8+. It's completely dead again now and won't even turn on or take a charge 😪

RIP S8 😕. Still use Samsung Cloud and backup by all means. I actually use both that and Google One.
