If I use Gemini or Google for 10 minutes or so, then it uses about 6 hours in background and if I use it more it increases. I have tried all the necessary steps to resolve and but none work. My device is the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (SM-G780G)

Checked mine for this morning, 1.5hrs but I have background processing on, I guess with Android everything is using Google maps, searches, etc..

How much battery did it use? If something has a lot of background hours but only using a couple of percentage of battery thats fine.

Also do you close your apps after using them, like google maps for example, if you just minimise it once you're finished with it rather than closing it then it will use a lot of background hours.

I mostly only use Gemini, since you need to have the Google app and for browsing I use the Samsung internet. Also I only get around 3-4 hours of SOT and that is maybe since my phone is old.
