Galaxy S8 No internet

I've learnt today that the reason I can't access the internet when I'm out and about is because the EE sim card is not compatible with the Galaxy S8. Can anyone verify this?

I am unable to access the internet when away from home, the phone says 'No internet'. I've looked at the EE community forum and the general understanding is that EE's sim card will not work in the Galaxy S8. Everything else works including WiFi

Hi, I've tried changing network settings, I've googled everything and tried to alter the APN settings also

Yes, been on to their tech department, followed their instructions, no joy. That's when I went onto the EE forum.

I'm looking at an S20 on Ebay right now, not impressed with EE at all!

Good luck with your search. I don't need to tell you the pros and cons of Ebay. I will say though, that the S20 is near its end of life in terms of updates and while it was a good phone in its day, it's not something I'd consider. If you must have an S series the I do recommend the S22. If your budget stretches that far, then a S23 is a great phone.
