Hi guys.

Just installed a glass screen protector and now the in screen finger print scanner does not work. Does anyone know if this is a problem with all phones with in screen scanners as it won't even read to do a new finger print.

Thanks

l am the same, put a screen protector on. It worked for a few days, then stopped working. I took off all the fingerprints I had applied. Tried to install new fingerprints with no avail. keeps saying make sure fingerprint is covered and press harder ( If I press any harder I'll go through the screen)

Agree with Krazeh - Whitestone Dome ! Have had one on my Note10+ for over a year and works fine ( don't even need the extra sensitivity turned on ) Would advise to watch their installation videos before applying it

I'm having the exact same issue, which is what brought me here. I installed a phone case that has a glass screen protector pre-installed in it. I am getting the "make sure your finger is covering the sensor" and "press harder" messages too. I tried erasing my fingerprints and redoing them and I'm getting nowhere. This wasn't even close to being a cheap case either. It's from Pinnacle Luxuries, and it is a beast. Amazing case, but it's pretty useless if I can't use the fingerprint scanner at this point. I don't know if I should chance removing the screen protector from the case or just get a different case altogether. Really disappointing.

I would send it back and get your money back and get a new one. I had a look around last night and got a new one that says it definitely works with the finger print scanner so will try that won't be here for a few days though unfortunately.

This did the trick for me for some reason!  Turned off "touch sensitivity", then turned it back on, deleted old fingerprints and then rescanned.  I'm using some brand of Best Buy glass screen protector and this procedure made a world of difference.  Thanks!!
