I send photos from my S21 to my desktop by email. Never had a problem but now pics stuck in Outbox with comment Couldn't Send. I can send an email text only and it is only my btinternet.com account  that is affected.  I have another email address and there is no problem. I can send a photo from my desktop to my bt acoount no problem but can't send pics from Samsung.  Any thoughts please?

It is btinternet.com (see original post)  I think it might well be as my outlook.com email works fine. Contacting bt is not easy.

I am receiving photo attachments on my desktop from other senders so this still looks like a Samsung problem.

I know that the file size limit is 20 mb for Outlook , 25 mb for gmail (though only guaranteed to work if emailing other gmail users) .   Some information on gmail here https://mailmeteor.com/blog/gmail-attachment-size-limit-

obviously cloud services are an alternative, can now send higher quality images/video via Whatsapp . https://lifehacker.com/you-can-finally-send-high-quality-photos-on-whatsapp-

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Thank you. Have considered that and sent some really small files plus larger but nothing received.  Never had any problems before so would like to sort out what has happened.

We have ruled out any problem with BT and think that there might be problem with the recent Samsung update. I have met someone else with exactly the same problem on another Forum.

Having been in contact with someone else on another Forum we have now discovered that the problem has been resolved. We haven't altered any settings but have discovered that we can again attach photos to our emails and send them to ourselves.  All a bit of a mystery.

The problem just resolved itself. Something to do with an update perhaps.

Yes - but ever since the latest software update, this problem has occurred for me! i.e. emailing photos from my flip phone takes an age. Sometimes nearly 2 days! So what is going on??
