Can't play games while using mobile data

I have an issue where I cannot get mobile games to load off wifi (using mobile data, even 5G). I've enabled background data usage for the apps, disabled data saver on the phone and even turned off wifi when away from my router or other wifi devices, all to no avail. Any suggestions would be welcome.

@Angel_a212: Is this affecting all games, or just certain ones? Have you tried checking the in-game settings to see if there are any network restrictions in place?

I also have this issue, my mobile data worked perfectly fine for a few weeks on my new phone and after about 5 weeks it stopped working for any online multiplayer games, ive gone back to my internet provider to fix but they cant do anything about it. My mobile hotspot is really good for games though and i dont know whats happened.
