Has anyone got an issue with the camera since the recent software update? Mine is looking like it's shaking slightly even though I'm stationary (also happens in apps that can use the camera) I'm just wondering if it's a widespread issue or a rare one.

Not certain if it's the same with everyone. My friends S20 doesn't have this issue so I'm certain it's some conflicting setting that ai have that required a wipe. I'm an app developer so I understand they can't cover all use cases and settings. The update does work after cache wipe so it's not like they did a buggy release. However not an everyday user knows how to perform a recovery startup and diagnose so Samsung could still have better addressed this.

About 3 updates ago on my S20 Ultra all my photos now come out blurred. Thought subsequent updates would fix it. Did all the cache clear steps over and over ands Safe Mode factory reset. The focus appears to keep resetting and the image before taking the photo on the screen goes in and out of blurring. Videos are the same. Took it into Samsung store, and they said they can only send it off to a Tech to have the camera unit replaced as there’s a known problem with the S20, possibly at my expense as I bought it second hand a few years ago. I explained it was working perfect until one of their updates. They said there’s nothing more they can do. Very unhelpful. Using my old S10+ but will never buy another Samsung Phone. Maybe a class action is needed for Samsung to fix the defect since they know it’s a problem with the S20 phones.

It’s an unfortunately fact that Big Tech companies don’t care about our environment and want us to keep disposing of last years model gadgets even though it’s (well, was) a perfectly brilliant phone and should last many more years before sending it to recycle. Annoys me how companies always put profit over the impacts of e-waste. Considering it’s a known problem from what the guy in the Samsung store told me, the responsibility should be on Samsung to do a recall on affected devices and fix it under consumer law protection as the phone through no fault of users does not meet the standards the phone was released… and even though I bought mine second hand, I still paid a premium price for the top of the range maxed out version.
