Hello,
Happy new year !
I juste received my brand new s20 FE 5G and I noticed something I never noticed on my others phones (S8+ ans S9).
During phone call I have a backround noise, just like when you hold a shell up to your ear. Its not very loud, but during silence you can clearly ear it.
Is it something normal on this device ?

Is this happening everywhere or in a particular place and on all calls @Dooky ?

Hello, everywhere and on all calls. I even try in safe mode, but it does the same. Always this hissing sound in backround during silence, like an old stereo Walkman...

As a process of elimination can you try your sim card in one of your other Samsung phones to see if you now notice this noise @Dooky
Also in your Samsung Members app is a diagnostic test tool to check your phone.
If this persists and it's not your sim card or network as issue then please approach a Samsung Experience Store / Samsung Service Centre for support.

So if you pull your sim card from this phone now and use it in another phone now you don't hear this noise @Dooky

Yes I dont hear this noise with same sim card on others phones

So this helps to rule out the sim card and network connection at issue so if the tests come back as OK via the diagnostic tools via your Samsung Members App please let a Samsung Engineer have hands on.
