I would like to know if there are some galaxy s9 phones that are yet to receive the Android Pie update. Because mine has not received the Android Pie update till date. It is possible that I will ever receive it.

Hey!
The software updates are released in batches, and it does also depend on your region so it would be hard to tell. I'd recommend downloading Smart Switch to a PC, and then you can connect your S9 to this. If the update is available for your phone it will locate this and allow you to update.
Here's a link for Smart Switch: https://www.samsung.com/uk/getting-started/smart-switch/

May I ask who supplied the phone to you ?
i.e.
A mobile network.
Samsung directly.
From another country.
Amazon or Ebay etc.

I bought it from used phone seller. I can't tell the country it came from but it is not tied to any mobile network. It is an unlocked device.

Can you go into your Playstore and download the phoneinfo app and look to see what your CsC code is as this can sometimes help to determine its status.

I have done as you suggested.
1. Firmware's CSC code: DBT
2. Active CSC code: ACR
What do they mean?

Hopefully the Samsung team here can clarify but in the interim I'll have a search.
What I do know is that the
BTU csc code is a Samsung phone supplied by Samsung directly.
XEU csc code is a Samsung phone supplied by a reseller but is unlocked.
The csc code can determine when a phone receives updates.
What does it say for your countries csc code in phone info.
At the moment my guess is your phone is from another country and has been unlocked.
Known as a grey import and these can recieve updates slowly if at all as they are reliant on the country of origins original network / Samsung pushing out the update.
Edit : ACR could be Saudi Arabia or Ghana.
Which country are you in ?
