Android 12 One UI 4 UI Lag and choppiness

Is anyone else experiencing UI lag and choppiness of apps closing and opening.

I updated to android 12 one UI 4 on my S20+ Exynos but I have noticed its slightly laggy and choppy.

I know the s21 android 12 update had similar issues and it was patched.

Hopefully we will too.

I honestly hope that new February security patch update will fix these problems because this is so annoying. Makes me really frustrated.

So it does look like this patch may have fixed the ui lag and choppiness as it is running much smoother, however entirely convinced yet.

So will update again, but so far no issues and it's been roughly a week now with the latest update

I have a s10+ and I did the update and so far it's just my settings menu that is lagging. I want to fix this without a hard rest.

Just a wee update, it is still running smooth from what I can tell, but, still treating it with scepticism yet.

So far it does seem stable. Will keep you all updated.

Ok, weirdley enough there was another update today, it still had in the notes 1st February 2022 security updates.

It was about 165mb big.

So far my phone seems to be working smooth and seems stable, although the battery drain was getting out of hand. I have optimised it to better suit battery prolongevity.

Will still post to keep you updated on how it is going so far.

Dude I have an s21 ultra with TMobile and I'm still having those quick panel issues and ive had it since getting it and even got a replacement and still occurs.  I had these issues with the S9 plus and S7 edge.  I haven't even got more updates.

Hi thanks for getting back, so what was your last update ?

I know the s21 series was quickly patched after it was discovered with these bugs.

With you being on T-Mobile it may still be due to be released as vendor specific devices go through their own software process, although, it's usually just re- compiling the main software that Google have released added with their own custom skin and apps.

It should have been patched for the s21 line more so than anything.

So should I get it directly from samsung in the future.  I haven't gotten another update for a bit 😕 did you buy it from samsung.
