Hello,
I read everywhere that sm g960f is among the first models to receive the update but still nothing through OTA.
Did anyone receive the update already?
I am in the UK with Vodafone and did not get the phone through the carrier.
Thank you.

Hi @Kyu
Its Vodafone UK that want to pre test the firmware for the phones they've supplied i.e branded phones.
However they don't comment on schedules for release.
》Firmware Statement from Vodafone UK.
You could try Vodafone Smartswitch to see if you can update that way.
Other than that as Samsung do not control the push as yours is a branded phone i.e supplied direct via Vodafone UK its Vodafone UK you'll need to check in with.
Hope that helps.

Hello, thank you for the reply!
However, as mentioned in my original message, I did not buy it through thr carrier.
It is an unlocked international version which does not have any branding.
I have purchased it through Amazon.
I haven't received any security patch since Sept 2019, which is also odd.
Is the manual way the only way to receive the update?
Thank you.

I have only read your post here which does not mention you purchased it from amazon.
Can you download the phoneinfo app from the Playstore and say what your active CsC code is

Hi @Kyu
Yes it's the correct info.
Your csc is XEU which is a phone that is an unlocked model but not supplied directly by Samsung.
For example mine is from Samsung so my CsC is BTU.
Yours has been sourced by a reseller and as such phones with your CsC code can recieve updates slower. These phones could also be grey imports which means sourced from other countries.
I know as I once owned one with the XEU csc code and my updates were ultra slow.
