All notifications from this app are blocked

I have downloaded an app called Mezurio which won't function without notifications.  However the app does not appear under Notifications in Settings.  When I choose "all system apps" it does then show, but won't allow me to switch on notifications - it stays greyed out and gives the message in the subject title above.

I have the latest Android software and the app is the current version.  I have rebooted the phone and uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

Has anyone any bright ideas, please?

I have found zero threads in any of the Google support channels on this issue, or with any other manufacturer. If this were an Android issue, there would be other manufacturers with the same problem. It seems to be a Samsung issue, not an Android issue.

Same problem with clash royale, really looks like a android/Samsung problem

Looks like either an android problem or the app developer problem as other non-samsung phones as well are being affected. if anyone finds any solution, please do keep us all updated on this thread.  Thank you.

I have the same exact problem with clash royale. I'm almost sure it has something to do with Samsung. It is unbelievable that so many people are experiencing the same problem and there is still no solution.

I'm having the same exact problem with the same exact app as you go and a couple other apps, I haven't found a fix for this. I've tried every setting that is related to notifications to change it or re enable them or anything, and nothing has worked. I'm guessing with the new Android update it's screwing with everyone's app notifications, I hope it gets fixed.

I've had this exact same issue for months with one of my banking apps (Digio).

Similarly, for just as long all my other banking apps do show up under de Notifications settings, but I don't receive any notification at all, so clearly they share the same issue. I've been looking for a solution all this time, and had absolutely no luck.

Same here. Clash Royale on Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Super annoying!

Have it here with a Space Launch Now app. worked for years then recently it stopped, acting exactly as above, only seen in system apps and is un switchable.  following for hopefully a future answer.
