Welcome to the Samsung Community! Our goal is to create a friendly, supportive, and inclusive space where everyone feels safe sharing their thoughts, asking questions, uploading content, and engaging in fun contests. By joining and participating in this community, you agree to follow these Samsung Community Standards (“Standards”).

 

  1. Be Respectful and Kind

Treat others with respect and kindness at all times. Disagreements happen, but keep discussions constructive and free of personal attacks.

Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or bullying of any kind won’t be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to, threats, insults, or harmful behavior. Do not reply to any messages that are hostile, rude or inappropriate, or in any way make you feel uncomfortable.

 

  1. Protect your personal information

What you post here is public, so be cautious about revealing personal information that could help someone discover your actual identity. Do not give out your  full name, account details, the name of your school, workplace information or bank information (other than information specifically requested by the Samsung Community Team).

Avoid sharing and posting sensitive data like login details and be mindful when posting personal identifiers such as your email address, phone number or postal address. When posting on Samsung Community we suggest using an appropriate nickname and profile image to help protect your identity.

Refrain from sharing your exact location or frequent visited spots for your own safety. If discussing sensitive topics, be mindful of sharing details that could be exploited.

Take precautions when meeting other Samsung Community users in the real world.

  1. Share constructive content

We encourage everyone to contribute positively to discussions by sharing helpful and relevant content. When participating in a conversation, aim to add value by providing clear information, offering solutions, and being supportive of others.

Even when disagreeing, do so respectfully and thoughtfully, focusing on the topic rather than the individual.

Engage constructively and positively. We value conversations that foster learning and support. Please avoid posts that may disrupt, discourage, or bring negativity to the community.

  1. Image and video sharing

Please ensure any content shared, including videos, images, and profile pictures, adheres to our community standards. Content that is graphic, explicit, offensive, or harassing will not be permitted.

Respect copyright and intellectual property laws; only upload original content or content you have permission to share.

  1. No Spam or promotional content

Avoid self-promotion, spam, or any content that doesn’t contribute to community discussions. This includes advertising products, services, websites, or any external content that does not benefit the Community as a whole.

  1. Exercise caution with advice

This community is primarily made up of users sharing their personal experiences and insights. While many here provide helpful information, please remember that advice or solutions shared by members do not represent Samsung’s official position or guidance.

Recommendations might not be accurate, up-to-date, or suitable for your specific needs. Always consider your unique situation, and if in doubt, consult a Moderator. Ultimately, it’s your responsibility to evaluate the information provided and decide whether to apply it.

  1. Keep it legal

We don’t tolerate discussions or content that involves illegal activities. This includes, but is not limited to, discussions on drug use, hacking, piracy, breaching copyright, or commenting on court related activities.

Don't give tips that are illegal or that could cause other users to lose their warranty, use products improperly, or create dangerous situations.

  1. Make our Community Better

If you notice any inappropriate behaviour or content, you can report this in the thread options by clicking “Report as inappropriate”.

 

  1. Have Fun and Be Supportive

Enjoy the community, and help others feel welcomed. A fun, positive atmosphere benefits everyone!

By interacting in the Samsung Community, you agree to follow these Standards and the  broader Community Terms. You also agree to comply with any directions from the Samsung Community team who manage the Community for everyone’s benefit.

Any violations of the Standards or  Community Terms can result in the editing or removal of the content where necessary. Any repeat infractions may result in an account ban, at the discretion of the Community Team.

We may update these Standards at any time, so please pop back and read them from time to time.

I guess this needs to be a sticky on all the latest forums starting with the S25 series.

Also point 6. Should include Member Stars as not employed by Samsung as well for clarity.
