Z Flip 5 (UK user) - Samsung Pass thinks I'm German

I purchased my flip 5 just last week. Everything has been absolutely perfect except that my samsung pass thinks I'm German for some reason

Everything I try to log a card it keeps directing me to the German settings, ie different phone number, location. But the teal kicker is that even if I changed everything, I still won't be able to enter my post code as German postcodes seem to only have numbers while my UK one requires letters.

I've looked up this problem online and seen a few others have had this issue as well. They managed to fix with a software rest (holding down volume and power). I've tried this several times now to no avail, also ensuring my phone is fully up to date. Tried uninstalliny the app a couple times, and even consider resetting my phone but i don't think it's worth it right now

I'm using Google pay in the mean time but would really love to get this working so I can use the pass/wallet on my cover screen

your CSC will be DBT, it needs to be a uk one for samsung pay to be in english such as EUX, EUY, BTB etc.
where did you buy it from?

Sorry I'm not familiar with those acronyms, is that Direct Benefit Transfer & Card Security Code? Also those other ones...
My card is visa from barclays with updated details, like Google Pay has worked perfectly fine.
I bought my phone from carphone warehouse as a new device, not second hand

It is the weekend but from a post I read with an identical problem they responded in hours. Hopefully, they will contact you on Monday, if not, speak to a human through the support section of members app.

No not those, on your phone go to settings>about phone>software information then scroll down to software provider service information, you should have multiple 3 letter codes like EUX/EUX/EUX , I suspect yours will be DBT which is the german variant, you can change the code using a program called SamFW

I've got lots of EUX and an MEO/OXM. No sign of DBT in sight

MEO is a portuguese CSC, where did you buy this from? OXM is a multifirmware CSC code, EUX is the generic unbranded CSC for europe, someone has already changed the CSC once before it seems or the phone originally came from portugal
You either need to change the CSC to a UK one or send the phone back
