I have been asked to create a work profile to be able to view my work emails/teams messages on my personal phone (Samsung S23) so I have both a personal and work profile on my phone. I've found that if my work profile is turned on it prevents my phone from updating apps through the play store even if they are in my personal section of the phone. If I either remove the work profile or turn it off the apps are then able to update. Is there a way to fix this or is this down to my company IT administrators creating this issue??

interesting response - so I have similar issue with all our corporate phones, where we have bought them and issued them and allowed work and personal profiles (this prevents user mistakes of personal leakage of own data and company data) - but now only our samsung devices are preventing update of apps in the personal profile - Please note I stated only Samsung devices and only devices from the S20 and above range. All other updated devices not conflic

Very interesting!!! I thought it might be due to my IT department but it seems like its a bigger problem. I have an S23. I found it would let some apps update but then some wouldn't update and only when I removed the work profile would the updates work.
