I don't like this new update. It's shrank all of my widgets, making my WhatsApp messages hard to read. I hate having the search bar for my apps at the bottom. I cant even check my notifications because it keeps just pulling up the menu.
Of course, that would be if my notifications were notifying me, which they aren't. Is there any way to actually get all of my notifications back, and to actually check my notifications if I can. The new UI has made contacting people an absolute nightmare. Should be an option to change back.

Long pressing on widgets can enable resizing them, at least all the ones I use.
I would suggest that you go into the notification settings, select where and how you want them to appear and whether you want sound alerts, then go into the individual apps and ensure notifications are turned on, or you can probably just go into the individual apps and do all that, but I do belt and braces😂

Go to pull down menu, select the pen icon to edit, select panel settings and then together, that will make it more like the previous pull down.

Thanks for the response. I'm now having the issue with the fact it won't let me view the pull up menu now and only the notification menu. Additionally, my notifications are showing up there, but not at the top of my screen. Widget thing was resized, though not sure why the WhatsApp text is so small in it.

Sorry not sure what you mean by this: I'm now having the issue with the fact it won't let me view the pull up menu now and only the notification menu. Additionally, my notifications are showing up there, but not at the top of my screen. Could you post a screenshot? I assume you have updated all apps in both play store and Samsung app store?

Apps are all updated. Won't let me go further up to the other menu from this one. Previously had an issue where it would immediately take me to the pull up menu but not show the notification menu. Not sure why it's swapped.

Nevermind. Figured it out. It's a swipe left and right thing now, rather than two swipes up. Confusing for now. But at least I can actually access my settings again.

I agree, the new UI isn't as intuitive as the old one. It also moved a bunch of stuff around, like somebody came into your kitchen and put everything back in different places, so instead of using my phone effectively I just spent the last 20 minutes anxiously trying to find all the things they changed.
Please, Samsung, NEVER DO THIS to your customers again. I depend on my phone for my work, and when I can't access my apps and information quickly it gives me a lot of anxiety. At least give customers the choice to not use the new layout. I don't have time to waste trying to relearn how to use my phone!
