Txt not getting through

Hi, I have a problem which only started when I got my new A13, txt messages only from my daughter are only coming in when I put data/wifi on, and also when I send txts to her when the Internet is on they turn blue amd have sent under them, but when the Internet is off, the txts go green amd I get an actual confirmation txt, I have noticed this happen with several other people in my phone book, but I can't send amd receive txts from them with the Internet off, could anybody please help it's doing my head in.

Do you use the the default Samsung Messages app for sms/text?

In Settings > Apps >Messages > Message settings > Chat settings is Chat features toggle on?  It will then you both wifi and mobile network, which ever is available to send and receive messages.

Hi, no I'm not using the built in messaging app, I have put that in to a forced stop

Which app do you use and have you given that app sms permission?
