Think I have a virus

Hey guys.. when I go into settings and then click on "APPS" the screen loads then automatically closes again without me being able to click on anything...I've had some trouble with my phone lately (S8) and think I may have a virus...what's the best way to get rid of it??? Also I have reset my phone completely and that hasn't seemed to of helped either..suggestions please...thanks

Hi do a factory reset, that should fix your issue.

Resetting your phone will get rid of any virus.
If you have the Galaxy S8. The software will be quite out of date now. So probably you are experiencing issues with the software.
You could have a third party theme or app that's having an effect on the phone
Have you tried clearing the Partition Cache of the phone?
Does the same thing happen in safe mode.

Thanks for the reply pal...I haven't got a clue what the Partition Cache is...never even heard of it..plus I'm not tech smart...I'll have a look for safe mode if this phone has it n have a go...I'll let you know tomorrow if anything happens...could you explain the Partition Cache to me please..or how to use it...thanks alot for your time n suggestions 👍

Have you tried connection it to a computer with smart switch installed & see if there's any security update available ?
