Being a leak, I wouldn't bother asking now. UI7 has just come out.

Google phones will get Android 16 first, as Google develops the software. Then Samsung will put their own touch onto it. I can't imagine this for quite a while.

Yeah! They a internally Beta Testing it as Google was early this time around compared to the last year fiasco.

The S25 series will probably get the beta taste October/ November Earliest.

It's too early to really comment though. 😊

I just dont understand what was the point of 7....and outcry on social media about delays ...ppl in some parts of the world not getting update instead of just skipping 15 and go straight to 16....

It's fake, how can you have Google play system update showing May 1 2025 when it's only April now. It's obvious even Google isn't that far ahead😂😂

Android 16 is out already :winking-face: and sec updates are prepped in advance. Same like windows dont update same date it release updates, but i get your point, but ui8 is not a secret :winking-face:

Android 16 3.2 Beta is out.
It's still a way off being officially released yet.

Because One UI 7 has the groundwork for the future software updates that have AI software integration.
Android 16 One UI 8 will build on this.
It's prudent to do things in stages anyway, makes sorting out issues a bit more straightforward.
