Snapchat background usage

Hey all, I don't know if anyone else experiences this but my Snapchat uses a lot of background battery, I put this app in deep sleep a while ago but it's still using quite a bit, what could I do to fix this or what Is causing it? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok so what I did was open Snapchat sign out then come off it then uninstall app it won't use all your battery then

Unfortunately, social media apps are huge resources hogs and there's nothing the end user can do

Unfortunately Snapchat s one of the Battery hogs and effective action is limited.  could disable Snapchat GPS if using that.  some information here https://techindroid.com/snapchat-battery-drain/
