Samsung Wallet "Scan with Camera"

I am trying to add a Loyalty card to samsung wallet. It is not on the list so I am trying to add manually. 
I used to be able to add a image I wanted as icon, Then there was a "Scan with camera" option to set then QR code.
This option is now missing so I can no longer add the QR code that I need to add so I can then use it on my watch.
Now all it does is give me a barcode which is of no use at all. Is there any way to get the QR code option back ?

I don't use Samsung Wallet but it is on my phone. When I go to add a loyalty card I have the option to take a picture and add it manually. Haven't you got this? Apologies if this is not what you're after, just thought it would be a workaround for you.

I have tried adding a membership card using the "Take a picture". I can add the picture and the associated metadata (club name, membership number) but am unable to save the new card (the Save button is disabled). Can't think of anything I'm missing. All I can do is cancel out of it.
