So i have been using samsung pay and my bank sent me out a new card.
the app wouldnt let me add it or delete the old card.
samsung advised me to delete app and start again.
i did this but now after downloading the app ( direct from samsung or google ) it says it needs an update that wont get past 26%, which means i cant get the samung pay any further.
it is working on my samsung watch just not on the phone.
ive rang the notsohelpful helpine who asked me to send across dumplogs which frankly i found impossible.
im now with out any support as they dont seem to have a workaround or solution apart from master reset which im not doing as too many things to try and remember..
SAMSUNG HAS GONE TO POT !!

try to clear the data of the Samsung Pay app
this will remove the saved updates and cards from it
Settings → Apps → Samsung Pay → Storage → Clear Data
then kindly turn off and on the phone
