My Samsung pay won't allow me to pay for purchases over £100. Since it's fingerprint verified, it should allow me to pay. I'm not sure if it's a Samsung pay limitation or some configuration, even though I wasn't able to find any configuration that would be blocking me. Has anyone had the same experience?
There shouldn't be a contactless limit for wallet apps. Google wallet doesn't have this limitation. O neither does apple pay, because these transactions are pin verified
If you use the CURVE app with Samsung Pay, you set your spend limit in the App. Mine is £1500 a day. This takes a little setting up bur it's worth it. Also CURVE uses ALL known credit cards.
Actually I use Amex, and Amex is not accepted by curve. I have also curve with Samsung pay+. But my main one is the Amex which is set up directly on Samsung pay
I have paid way over £100 on samsung pay. I think as long as you use a pin or finger print its suppose to work so not sure what happened in your case. It also says it on samsung pay website
Why don't you check with Amex? They may consider it contactless? I don't use Samsung pay and never spent over 100 on Google wallet so don't know if there is a limit
I have contacted Amex, and they said that while there's a £100 limit on the card, wallet apps shouldn't be limited by this. They told me to contact Samsung. Now I have and they said also there shouldn't be a limit. So I'll send now file logs for them to investigate =/
