I often open web pages in Samsung Internet browser through apps like Tasker and Website Shortcut. This used to work seamlessly but now Samsung Internet has decided it needs to show me a warning message (in the form of a big toast) each and every time I open a web page that way:
"Website Shortcut opened this page. You can block apps from opening webpages in Settings."
I am tired of seeing this warning message several times a day, and blocking notifications from Samsung Internet doesn't help. Is there any way to disable it that I have missed? I thought of switching to some other browser to avoid it but I have so many bookmarks in Samsung Internet and the app works great apart from this irritating "feature".
Suggestion to Samsung if there is no way of blocking the warning message:
Clicking on the warning message takes me to Samsung Internet settings > Privacy dashboard > Block apps from opening Internet
There I can see which apps have opened links in Samsung Internet and also block access for those apps. Please add an option to disable warnings there, or to allow certain apps to open web pages without sending out a warning.

Clearing the cache didn't help so I have submitted this issue as feedback through the Samsung Members app.
Thanks.

I have the same issue and it's driving me mad! It's not a notification, it's a "toast" and there is no option to disable them.
