S21 Ultra + Huawei Watch 3 Pro

Hello All,

my Huawei Watch 3 Pro has contacts but never the names show just the numbers. Huawei says i need to contact Samsung to enable the apps permission.

Please help out and many thanks.

Hey @Eyeson ,

do you use any app to connect this to your S21 Ultra? If so, can you check if there are any apps sections that allows you to enable this?

If not, you can head into the phone Settings> Apps> Search for the app that you use to connect the watch> Tap on it> Permissions> Search for Contacts and tap on it> Allow.

Have you tried to restart the phone and the watch and see if that makes a difference?

Keep in mind that if all the permissions are enabled for the app on the phone, this should be working. Please do check the watch manual or contact the manufacturer to see if there are any other steps that can be performed to fix this as our knowledge and support on third party devices is limited.
