Hi Samsung Community,
I am writing to request a solution for accessing Samsung Notes on my Windows PC, which is not a Samsung device. The Samsung Notes application has become an indispensable tool in my daily routine, significantly enhancing my productivity through its seamless integration with Samsung Cloud.
However, I am currently unable to use Samsung Notes on my non-Samsung Windows PC, which is a significant hindrance to my workflow. Although I have attempted to sync my notes with Microsoft OneNote, the preview is far from optimal and disrupts my efficiency.
I kindly ask for your support in addressing this issue. If there exists an online platform or specific software that would enable me to view my Samsung Notes on my Windows PC without the need for extensive editing capabilities, it would greatly improve my productivity.
Your consideration and assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention and support.
Warm regards,
Shay

In my opinion, it is very selfish to treat your clients this way. We buy expensive products, and in the end we receive this level of service. Even Apple doesn't do that.

I hate to say it, but that's EXACTLY what apple does. Apple DOES do that. With all of their "apple" apps.

I completely agree with Shay21.
If Samsung continues moving toward a closed ecosystem where I'm forced to buy only Samsung products to maintain full functionality, I’ll start looking elsewhere. One of the main reasons I became a loyal Samsung customer—ever since moving on from my Blackberry Pearl—was the brand’s versatility and user-friendly approach.
I’ve intentionally avoided Apple products because of their restrictive ecosystem that often requires you to use all Apple-branded hardware and services, even when better alternatives exist. If Samsung, or any other company for that matter (including Google), begins heading down that same path, they’ll lose me as a customer too.
I don’t need Samsung. I don’t need Apple. What I want are high-quality products that offer flexibility and interoperability. If you want consumer loyalty, earn it by making great products—not by forcing us into a locked ecosystem. I’ve already stopped purchasing from Amazon and Apple for these reasons, and I won’t hesitate to do the same with Samsung.
Maybe one voice doesn’t seem like much—but when enough voices speak up, it becomes a movement. Please don’t make the mistake of ignoring that.
