I'm 23 years old and with a Samsung Galaxy A54 that I've had for 3 years and yet the first Samsung device I've ever owned was the Samsung Galaxy Ace dating back to 2011. I've enjoyed all the one UI updates and I've always felt Samsung's UI has been the smoothest and easiest to learn. But One UI 7 is a menace in all the wrong ways. Idk why they took inspiration from Huawei as if their UI is so Grand, I actually own the P20 so I can see the similarities. Honestly it's pathetic. I can't access my panel because even when I swipe on the right side of my screen, the notification bar comes down. Smoothness and speed just isn't there even though I've got 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. I appreciate the add ins with Spotify to improve the way music looks on the UI, but the overall appearance needs work back to minimalist. Samsung should do what they've always done - look to GOOGLE for UI inspiration, do not look to China, nor Microsoft for that matter please. Also, I have to add that the Samsung Keyboard needs work. It is not adaptive enough, it's 2025 September and the swipe to text feature is shambolic, the text prediction is wrong, it doesn't quite get adjectives right, it learns faulty grammatical habits and it's just a true pain to type with, so much so that I'm using Gboard instead. Please, seriously understand that some things work on One UI 7, but the fundamental design on this one is not right. Please work to rethink the design. Thank you.
