Wondering if S25 users can share their thoughts using the Now Bar.

The short use I had for an Unpacked S25 was a great taster, but I never got to use it properly.

I wonder if the Now Bar needs its own forum space, but ...

Is anyone anyone using it?

Benefitting from it?

Needs more of?

Hi Obsydian. I think it's a great feature. My main use case is for seeing what song my phone is playing on Spotify while it's on the AOD. I love that you can double tap to skip a song without unlocking the phone. ❤ (Ideal if cooking or running on the treadmill). The Spotify widgets were hard to read and didn't skip on AOD.
I would like to see more use of the Now Bar. People have mentioned current sports scores, but as we're on the international break, I've not had chance to test it.
We should also see (or have the option) for upcoming appointments, although I know other Widgets can do this. Perhaps also breaking news or weather. (All as options, of course).
The Now Bar text should have done sort of scrolling tickertape.
I've not figured out how to make the Now Bar larger or reposition it yet, but am playing with HomeUp and LockStar currently.
Finally, I've posted about this today and sent it to beta feedback. I'd really want to see Google Pixel's ″Now Playing″, which is like Auto Shazam on steroids. This is such a good feature on my wife's last two Pixel phones.

I don't find a use for it in how I use my phone. The only thing it shows me is now brief which itself doesn't do much more than show the weather and health info.

Just a thought, as although I'm pleased by the Now Bar on the AOD, the weird Now bar in the upper status is poorly thought out.
My default is the first image, but the details aren't visible because I'm displaying the date in the status bar. If I move the date to the right, I can see the Now bar details, but lose icons on the right (e.g. wifi).
There's lots of padding space between the status bar and the top row of apps where the Now Bar could go.

Never thought of the AoD application, I just assumed it sat on the homscreen like a customisable widget.

I have managed to set mine up to receive the football scores of my favourite teams.

I know some are unable to receive them... likely some permissions rights or a strange anomaly.

I like the now bar for setting a timer... I.e. cooking time, and when playing stream music it also appears in the now bar.

I have at times had three or four items simultaneously in the bar... so for me it is a useful addition.

It is hard to capture it by screen shot. But the attached shows a now bar summary of a football match a couple weeks ago. This usually pops up a couple of hours before kick off... and stays in the bar for a few hours after.

Thanks, I'd sent feedback on these, but you also made me think how I could push the capabilities of using this.

I've learnt there's a difference between Now Bar and Now Brief, with Now Bar being a cool widget and Now Brief being the AI-integrated assistant. As I'm on UI7 beta (S23 Ultra), I only get Now Bar, but not Now Brief.

Ahhh Bar and Breif guess we need some S25 ers to stop talking photos and try other features 😂
