When using Facebook Messenger, I want to cut, copy, and paste the typed text, but the dialogue box for these options doesn’t appear. Are you experiencing the same issue? How can I resolve this? I often encounter this problem after typing a long message, and then someone sends a question that I want to answer first. I need to cut the entire typed text, but there is no option or dialogue box for that.

Thanks for your help and warm regards.

Nope, same here. That feature doesn't exist in FB messenger (mobile version)

Actually, scrub that. Hold your finger on the message for about 3 seconds. You should get the copy icon appear at the bottom of screen. Tap that and then paste into the text box.

Just press and hold on the text you want to copy and the relevant options pop up.

I did.but to no avail. No option to "Select All" as well. Need to continuously press the text just to highlight it, but no dialogue box that popped up which has the options for cut, copy, paste,.and select all.

You're talking about the typing field? Not the actual messages that have already been posted? If it's just the typing field, then that should work the same in any situation. What keyboard are you using?1721223540478_1721223540474_0.jpg

Yes, I also use the Samsung keyboard and have no problems with copy, paste etc in the typing box, no matter which environment I'm typing in. Try resetting your keyboard by going to settings>general management >Samsung keyboard settings >reset to default settings

Check your touch and hold delay. Settings>general management >Samsung keyboard settings >swipe, touch and feedback. Tap keyboard touch and hold delay. Mine ie set to medium.1721305275445_1721305275441_0.jpg
