What on earth is the point of a weather widget with text that gets truncated before any useful information is shown? The widget just shows "tomorrow's weather will..."

Long press it so you can shorten the widget. You'll get the information but unfortunately lose weather icons.

Have you turned on "auto refresh" in weather settings?
If not click on widget >at the bottompress location sign > 3 dots > settings > turn on auto refresh.
It works for me doesn't matter what size widget i have.
