My extra emojis and stickers buttons deactivated

My extra emojis and stickers became like disabled 

I did go to settings but nothing there changed to do that .

Can you help me please ?

Not sure if this is useful but I have noticed mine does this depending on where the cursor is on the screen. For example, on an email, they are only available in the main typing area, not the title area etc.
