I created an account just to vent.
The latest update for One UI has been nothing but a nightmare. From looking and behaving more like an iPhone to complete drop in performance and relability. Some of the issues that have started happening since the update:
- Constantly dropping wifi connection multiple times a day in areas where it had no issues prior.
- Cell coverage has suffered since the device is transmitting more data than it had prior.
- Having to restart the phone multiple times a week due to much samsung bloat running in the background.
- Widgets that were stock now look terrible and my clock and calender no longer work; like for real though, when I expand it out I expect the numbers to get bigger, not stay the same size and add seconds, no one carea about seconds being on their main clock.
- AI features are not wanted and to force them on my phone eats up performance and space.
- Has issues staying connected to other Samsung devices now and only really sees googles stuff.
The list could go on, but who ever is on the dev team is 100% rubbish and Samsung needs to stop acting like apple and pushing trash they belive is what we need, not what we want. Seriously looking at custom third party OS for my phone.
