Is there any point in having Bixby apps on my S24 Ultra now that we are on UI7 and the side button has changed to Gemini?

If I delete Bixby will it affect any functionality in my phone?

Bixby is not dead
You can do things on your phone with Bixby that Gemini won't be able to do.
They are two different things and both do separate functions.

Question was asked about this to one of the software developers in the Unpacked Event trip I went on.
Bixby is still a thing and continues to be used by a lot of users.
I must be honest and say that I don't use it very often. But comes in handy when I do

Thanks Glenntech. Can you give any examples of what Bixby can do that Gemini can't?

I find it connects with other Samsung devices like my TV
Set modes and routines I find easier.
Gemini is very good, but Bixby is much more integrated into Samsung devices

Bixby unfortunately had a heart attack and is unable to complete its service.

Bixby is useful for doing functional tasks on your phone, like setting dark mode, changing screen brightness or using a voice search for specific types of pictures in your gallery. These are just a few things Gemini cannot do on your phone.
