I have just installed the latest update and hate it with a passion, i only have 1 homepage because i like everything in 1 place

I hate the new update with a passion! I like everything i 1 place so it is all on 1 homepage but now when i swipe down to get messages etc the rest (wifi, data, torch etc) is now not there, i have to swipe to it. I also have the new icon changes and even the battery % looks *****, i cannot uninstalled the ridiculous update, i am now considering changing my much loved phone for another make and hope their updates are not as bad!

For the notifications and quick settings, this was an option on one ui 6, but was made as a default in one ui 7, to change it back, press the little pencil button on the top of the quick settings and there is an option there to change this back (not sure exactly what it is called, just helped someone else with this but my phone is still one ui 6.)

I would advise looking through that menu for how the battery display looks also.

Joanna it is possible to customise much of this using tools and settings within the software. Of course if you don't wish to look into this, then that is your choice.

The quick panel settings can be changed to work together like it previously did. See attached screen.

Thank you so much, at least 1 problem is sorted, just wish i could change the % battery back alongwith the other unsightly icons they changed

I don't have the update yet, but I don't really like the look of it either. I'm seeing that we're not alone in that, so if enough people submit feedback, they might make it possible to turn back 😞

OneUI 7 has been out for half a year. It's surprising that there are still people (in this internet age) who seem to be seeing it for the first time and as if the solution to merge the quick and notification panel hasn't been posted in every corner of the internet, from YouTube to Reddit, and here at least 85% of the posts are about this 🫩
