I have just removed/uninstalled Netflix, Facebook, YouTube Music and Samsung Pay from my new Galaxy. If I want to use these apps in future, then I’ll down load them from the App Store. Up Day is my next target.
Does any one know the package name of this app?
*** Update ***
Package name = de.axelspringer.yana.zeropage
Good bye 'Up Day' !!!!

I couldn’t disable it but someone else said go:
Settings , home screen, turn off "add media to home page"
That seems to work, no more upday rubbish with a right swipe

That is unfortunate. Hopefully in the future they can be a little more user friendly and make these thing removable.

I don't actually have it on my phone. I've searched and all the likely places and it's not there. My understanding is that it's a default app. I certainly would never have downloaded it myself!
I never had it happen before, but over the last week or so a privacy pop-up activates every time I open a tab. I can't close the pop up and it overlays the tab so I can't actually use Samsung browser AT ALL.

THE POP-UP DOES NOT IDENTIFY WHO IT'S FROM! Samsung NEEDS TO FIX THAT.
Since it seemed blatantly suspicious, I did not want to click any links in that pop up but after several days I caved, and that's the only way I found out about Upday!!! If you're presenting us with an UNKNOWN Samsung pop-up, it needs to say so.
Since I can't use the browser, I might as well move on elsewhere, that's what you're hoping the end result is for your customers??
Honestly, over the last 10 years both the internet and all associated tech have gone downhill so badly I'm that close to canceling everything. I'm sick and tired of using these bogus, ineffectual pieces of plastic.
I've enquired to my service provider about canceling my internet, and I've given the heads up to all my friends that I will likely no longer be available to contact online or cell.
And it's all because of nonsense like this Upday.
PS - and while we're at it, samsung, stop "awarding" me badges. Quit treating us like we're 7 years old.

Me, too!
And it started popping up a privacy notice that overlays my browser, and I can't close the overlay and I can no longer access the browser!!

None of this works as upday does not even exist on my phone!!! It's only recently I started getting a privacy pop-up page that overlays what I'm trying to do and the overlay can't be closed. Ergo, that makes Samsung internet dead.

One thing we have to remember from anything we work with in life: CORPORATIONS DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER ***AT ALL***
It goes without saying that this upday nonsense is a perfect example!

Like so many others have said **it's not on** my stupid little Samsung. It does not exist therefore I cannot get rid of it.
