try updating them one by one or in little groups
Best to start with what looks like system apps (Carrier settings, apps from Google you haven't seen before)
Then virusscanners and other very important apps
Then the other Google apps (maps, Gmail, chrome and that ilk)
then other tools
end with games
also before you do all this
check for firmware updates (settings-> software updates)
followed by updates from within the galaxy app store .
